Music Distribution Platform
I built a musicians platform to help independent artists get discovered, grow, and get paid—without needing a label to unlock distribution, audience, or opportunity. The product turned scattered hustle into a clear system: publish your work, package your identity, understand what’s performing, and create momentum from real signals—not guesswork.
I served as the lead designer, owning the full stack: marketing site, product UX/UI, and the core brand identity.
We helped musicians build a strong online presence, run simple marketing campaigns, and track performance with clear analytics. Building the platform taught me that real scale comes from a shared foundation—solid frameworks and reusable patterns—instead of reinventing solutions every time.
Reducing Cognitive Load in Release Details
Before: The release form presented all metadata fields at once, creating visual overload and slowing users down.
After: We introduced progressive disclosure, surfacing only required fields first and collapsing optional details into a “More” section. This helped users focus on completion without sacrificing flexibility.
From Locked Order to Flexible Track Management
Before: Track order was locked after source file upload, forcing users to reupload and re-enter details if mistakes occurred.
After: We redesigned the experience into a lightweight table with sorting and modal editing, allowing users to reorder tracks easily and manage details without losing progress.
