Roastery Reserve Mug is what Starbucks Coffee uses to serve their Reserve coffee at their "Coffee Shrine" Roastery & Tasting Room.
The mug incorporates many unique techniques that are not seen in most mugs sold in common Starbucks retails. These techniques add hand-made quality and compliment the story the Roastery & Tasting Room tells to the visitors. As an industrial designer in the creative team, my responsibility was to convert the idea & stories of the store into a form in the medium of ceramic and make sure the outcome were consistent in quality and desirable by the client. Actual works include, technique research and sourcing, form & art design, prototyping, 3D modeling, factory drawing, packaging factory drawing, sampling, quality assessment.
